Hello, I am Jia the Intern and a junior in high school. I am interested in photography and am currently learning photoshop. Today I will be writing about a print ad that resonates with me. This particular ad is highly relevant because the sad, crying emoji is the focal point, which appeals to younger generations. I think Amnesty International did a great job spreading the message “Still there are countries that punish internet free expression. Join with us. fight with us”. By making the ad predominantly black, your attention is instantly focused on the emoji through the stream of light emerging from the window. This creates a dramatic effect that concisely conveys the message. Amnesty International has successfully produced an ad that is clean, bold, and incredibly effective.
